Clinical Trial Protocol Description: 

Subjects with newly diagnosed colorectal cancer will provide up to three stool samples and one blood sample prior to initiating chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and/or follow up surgery or colonoscopy. The samples will be used to develop a screening test for colorectal cancer.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria: 

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between the ages of 40 and 90.
  • Have a new diagnosis of colorectal cancer following colonoscopy.
  • Have undergone surgical excision of cancer or complex colonoscopy to remove polyp within 90 days of study enrollment.
  • Agree to provide at least one stool sample and an optional blood sample.
