Programs and Services for Veterans and Their Families

  • Road Home Program: Connecting veterans and their families to the care, services and resources they may need as they return from military service. The program offers a comprehensive diagnostic, treatment and referral services at Rush as well as through a network of collaborating community agencies.
  • Advanced Trauma Training Program: Designed to equip deploying military medical corps and civilian first responders with state-of-the-art knowledge and the hands-on skills required to respond to real-life emergency situations. The training prepares participants for the battlefield or for catastrophic events at home.

  • Military Occupational Code Translator (for Rush University Medical Center jobs only): This tool is designed to help military veterans by matching military occupation codes to Medical Center job codes. Note: This tool is only available for positions at Rush University Medical Center.

Agreement Gives Veterans More Access to Rush Care

Military veterans who receive their care through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) can now obtain care at Rush if they need services that may not be available at their area VA medical center.
