CHANGE IN BLOOD CULTURE INSTRUMENTATION

11-1-2001
On November 13, 2001 the Rush Clinical Microbiology Laboratory will change blood culture instrumentation. The current system, Trek Diagnostic Systems ESP®, will be replaced by bioMýrieuxýs BacT/Alert system. Like the ESP system, the BacT/Alert system comprises an aerobic and an anaerobic blood culture bottle.
