  • Colonoscopy

  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)

    Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a procedure to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach and the top of the small intestine (called the duodenum). Another name for EGD is upper endoscopy. Doctors use EGD to help diagnose problems such as nausea and vomiting, heartburn, gastrointestinal bleeding, swallowing problems and certain pains (like abdominal or chest pain).
