Facility offers testing in several domains relevant to psychological functioning including personality, emotional, behavioral, intellectual, academic and neuropsychological assessment measures. Twelve-month early intensive home-based treatment for young children with autism. The program begins with intensive parent training at the center, followed by therapy in the home three times per week with parents actively involved in the child's treatment. Over the twelve month period, consultation with the child's school program is initiated to assure that the child is doing well in all environments. Following the PUENTES program, children move from individual treatment to social groups where they can utilize their communication and social skills with peers. The full range of services is available in Spanish-English.

A multi-disciplinary team of professionals will provide a comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation services, which takes place over the course of five sessions on separate days over four-six weeks. Includes: parent interview, psychological testing designed to diagnose an autism spectrum disorder, speech evaluation, occupational therapy evaluation, conference with the family, including diagnosis, recommendations, and a review of available resources. School district personnel can be included if desired. The evaluation will determine whether or not a child has an autism spectrum disorder.

LFCA schedules evaluations and re-evaluations for children and adults who have symptoms of autism spectrum disorders. Our evaluation targets an individual’s strengths, weaknesses and how they learn so to maximize treatment strategies for home and school.
