PREVENTIVE CARE 
Commonly referred to as "health maintenance." Our most important responsibility is to keep you healthy. Your primary care physician will discuss with you the screening tests recommended for maintaining good health and preventing disease.
URGENT CARE 
We provide same-day and next-day urgent care appointments as well as 24-hour physician telephone coverage year round.
CHRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT 
Our physicians will work with you to understand you and your family member's chronic conditions and help to effectively manage pain.
REFERRAL TO OUR SPECIALISTS 
As a part of Rush University Medical Center, we can refer you to our team of world-class clinical specialists in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Our practice has long standing relationships with specialists and knows how to efficiently coordinate your care and navigate the health care system.
HOSPITAL CARE 
In the event that you need to be hospitalized, we will refer you to Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized institution for innovative, technologically advanced quality care. A physician from our practice team will be involved in your care to ensure that you understand your diagnosis and treatment and will coordinate your follow-up care.

| All of our board-certified physicians are trained in both pediatrics (for children) and internal medicine (for adults). "Med-Peds" physicians are combined internists and pediatricians with the skills and knowledge to care for the entire family, from routine health care to complex medical problems. Keith Boyd, MD*:
With 20 years of experience, Boyd is the director of Rush Pediatric Hospitalist Program and also an associate dean at Rush University. He also oversees a program to recycle old cell phones to benefit the Good Deed Foundation, which refurbishes the phones for use by those at shelters. Boyd speaks Spanish.

Clarence Parks, MD: Throughout his professional career, Parks has received various awards and commendations and has been an active member in his local medical community. He is currently County Health Board president as well as medical director of the local hospice and chemical dependency programs. He supervises residents, practices primary care and participates in hospital rounding.

Jeremy Pripstein, MD: He completed a faculty development fellowship in medical education at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles and received a master's degree in education. Pripstein came to Rush from University of Kentucky, where he was a clinical instructor in both internal medicine and pediatrics. He currently coordinates the educational development for residents and students at Lifetime Medical Associates.

Surabhi (Mona) Mehrotra, MD: Before joining the Rush faculty, Mehrotra was an internal medicine hospitalist at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois. She is committed to community health care, most recently helping supervise a free student-run clinic in an underserved area in Chicago. She is also interested in educating high school students on preventive medicine.

Teresa Nam, MD: Nam attended Cornell University, where she received her BS in environmental engineering and a master's degree. She then moved to Chad, Africa, for the next two years, working in community development as a water resource engineer. Prior to entering medical school, Nam worked with people with special health care needs and developed an interest in transitional medicine. This led to her interest in the transition of pediatric patients with complex medical needs to adulthood.
