Jia-liang Li, MD, PhD
Jia-liang Li, MD, PhD, is an instructor of the Brain Bank at the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University. After earning his doctoral degree from West China University of Medical Sciences, he received two years postdoctoral research training on molecular oncological pathology at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. In 1998, he came to Rush University as a postdoctoral fellow and an instructor at molecular oncology lab and RADC. His research focuses on molecular, biological and stereological aspects of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, aging and tumors. He is a member of AACR and the American Society of
Neuroscience and has published more than 15 research articles.
