Clinical Services at Rush Susan Frick, MSW

Susan Frick, MSW, is a licensed social worker. She coordinates the Nursing Home ASSIST network, which meets three times each year to provide education and support to nursing home staff who are working with Alzheimer’s patients. Frick coordinates the annual "Celebrate the CNA" conference, the Unit Director’s Certificate Course and other training programs for staff from long-term care facilities. She also works with families and patients in the Rush Alzheimer’s clinic. Frick received her undergraduate degree, in psychology and sociology, from Elmhurst College and her master’s degree in social work from Loyola University of Chicago. She has worked in the area of Alzheimer’s disease and long-term care since 1987. She joined the staff of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center in 1997.
