Traci Colvin is the Coordinator of the Rush Memory and Aging Project (MAP) and the Religious Order Study (ROS). MAP is a community-based study with residents of Chicago-area retirement centers that aims to prevent common health problems associated with aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Similarly, ROS is a longitudinal, clinical pathologic study of healthy senior members of various Catholic religious groups across the country.
Colvin received both a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1987 and a master’s degree in public health in 1990 from the University of Michigan. Colvin has been with the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center team since May of 2001. Prior to coming to Rush, she served ten years as coordinator on numerous grant projects at La Rabida Children’s Hospital and Research Center.
