Education
Staff members of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center (RADC) have offered more than 800 educational presentations, training workshops and conferences to health care professionals and family caregivers. Educational services include development of special care programs for people with Alzheimer’s disease in residential care facilities and adult day care centers. The RADC sponsors an ongoing education program for staff of areas nursing homes and retirement communities through its ASSIST (Alzheimer’s Staff Support Information) networks.
