Program Description The Section of Pediatric Pulmonology at Rush Children's Hospital at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, provides comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with lung and breathing disorders. The program offers advanced care for complex asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary complications of chronic disorders such as muscular dystrophy and scoliosis, in addition to cystic fibrosis. The Rush Cystic Fibrosis Center is fully accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Clinical Team
Girish D. Sharma, MD, an expert in infant pulmonary function testing and fiberoptic bronchoscopy, leads the pediatric pulmonary disease program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Sharma is director of both the Section of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and the Rush Cystic Fibrosis Center.
