Program Description

Nationally recognized for treating pediatric hemophilia, thrombophilia and hemostasis. A regional referral center for children with muscular dystrophy, movement disorders and epilepsy. The first and largest perinatal network for obstetrical and neonatal care in the state of Illinois. These are only a few of the many reasons why Rush University Medical Center is a leader in caring for children of all ages, from newborns through young adults.

At Rush, physicians from more than 30 specialties address the full range of pediatric diseases and congenital problems, from the common to the complex. With expertise that earned a state designation as an official “children’s hospital,” Rush pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, nurses and other health professionals provide care that aims to fulfill community needs, empower parents and advance medical science.
