Screening, early detection and prevention are priorities at Rush. Dermatologists, medical oncologists and surgeons examine patients for early signs of malignancy or premalignant lesions. At Rush, we also put a high emphasis on prevention. We counsel patients on signs of early mole changes, methods of skin self-examination and sun protection.
