Program Description
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Rush is a nationally recognized leader in radiologic and imaging services. The program offers a full range of nuclear medicine technologies, including a dedicated, whole-body PET scanner. Our board-certified physicians use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to give patients what they need most—simple, honest answers. And at Rush, we’re dedicated to providing the best patient experience—from our friendly, personalized approach in our clinics to our engagement in research for better, more cost-effective diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in our labs. For our referring physicians, the department continues to offer the best in customer service with quick turnaround time on radiology reports. Services Provided

Outpatient Ambulatory Imaging Services
Outpatient imaging service covers general radiography imaging (including CT scanning, MRI and arthrography) offered at the patient’s convenience. For most exams, no appointment is necessary. Patients can walk in with a doctor’s orders and obtain high-quality, efficient radiography services. All exams require a physician’s written request.

David A. Turner, MD, the Robert McCormick Professor at Rush University, is chairperson of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. The diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine team at Rush includes:
