Clinical Trial Protocol Description

The purpose of this study is to test the ability of an experimental PET imaging compound to detect brain amyloid, a protein associated with Alzheimer’s disease. At Rush University Medical Center, we anticipate recruiting approximately 10 people.



Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 21 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with a serious/life-threatening illness
  • Are willing to agree to brain donation upon death

You will be excluded from this study if you:

  • Are unwilling or unable to undergo an MRI scan and a PET scan of your brain
