Jun Zhong is a lab research assistant with the laboratory of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center (RADC). In this role, he coordinates and performs day-to-day activities related to routine and complex biochemical, molecular, and histopathologic laboratory procedures involving human postmortem and antemortem biospecimens in support of several multi-disciplinary research studies of aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Jun began working at the RADC in 2013. Before working with the RADC, he earned a doctorate of medicine from Southeast University College of Medicine in Nanjing, China and a bachelor of science in public health from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He also has a background in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
