Health Information In My Own Words: "Ask Me Why I'm Bald!"

Students and staff at Rush part with their hair for pediatric cancer research.

On March 29, the first-floor lobby of Rush Children's Hospital was turned into a makeshift barbershop for Rush’s fourth annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser. During this hair-razing event, a number of students and staff from the Department of Pediatrics had their heads shaved to raise money for St. Baldrick's, a volunteer-driven charity that funds childhood cancer research. The video below features highlights from the fundraiser — which raised more than $16,000 — as well as dramatic before and after clips (and snips):
