Giving to Rush The Benjamin Rush Society

The Benjamin Rush Society is the premier giving society of Rush Medical College, honoring alumni, faculty and friends of the college who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more for use within the college.

The Benjamin Rush Society was established at the time of Rush’s 1969 reactivation to celebrate the generosity of those who support medical education at Rush. Today the society comprises 245 faculty, house staff, friends and alumni members. Gifts from BRS members are used to support Summer Research Fellowships for first- and second-year students, enhance Rush’s nationally recognized community service programs for students at all levels of study and provide scholarships for our entire medical college population.

For more information about the Benjamin Rush Society, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (312) 942-2569.
