Mind/Body Medicine and Ulcerative Colitis

The purpose of this study is to determine whether practice of one of two mind/body courses among patients with ulcerative colitis (active or inactive) affects disease course and severity. We expect to recruit 100 patients for this study. If you are enrolled in the study, you will be compensated for your participation.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis
• Have had a flare-up in the past year
• Have no history of colon resection
• Are not pregnant
