John W. Polley, MD, is chairman and professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. Polley is also program director of the Rush University Medical Center plastic surgery training program and co-director of the Rush Craniofacial Center. Polley has been an extremely active clinician in the field of craniomaxillofacial surgery for over the past 20 years. He has published well over 100 peer-reviewed articles in the field of craniofacial surgery. Polley's research interests include distraction osteogenesis, cleft lip, cleft palate and craniofacial development.
