ACR/EULAR endorsed study to develop classification and diagnostic criteria for primary systemic vasculitis.
This study is designed to improve existing classification criteria for the primary systemic vasculitides and develop diagnostic criteria for these diseases. This will enable more accurate disease definitions for use in clinical practice and in clinical studies of systemic vasculitis. This project is believed to produce the following deliverables:
- A new validated set of classification criteria for the primary systemic vasculitides.
- A validated set of diagnostic criteria for the primary systemic vasculitides.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- 18 years of age or older
- Have the ability to give informed consent
- Are a patient with primary systemic vasculitis: granuloamtosis with polyangiitis (Wegener’s), microscopic polyangiitis, Churg-Strauss syndrome, giant cell arteritis, Takayasu’s arteritis and other primary systemic vasculitis
