Renew: A Clinical Research Trial for Adults with Chronic Chest Pain and Decreased Blood Flow to the Heart
The purpose of the Renew Stem Cell Study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of stem cells from a patient's own blood to treat chronic chest pain due to coronary artery disease. It is hoped that this stem cell therapy will enhance blood flow to the heart, decrease chest pain and increase exercise tolerance.
You may be eligible for this study if you:

Are a male/female 21-80 years of age

Experience chest pain every week or more frequently

Have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease
You will be excluded from the study if you:
- Have been hospitalized for a stent or heart surgery within 60 days of enrolling in the study
- Have a history of leukemia, other bone marrow disease, or sickle cell disease
- Have had a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) within 60 days of enrollment in the study
