Stephanie M. Shors, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Rush University Medical Center. She is director of genitourinary imaging.
She received a medical degree from Northwestern University in 2000. Following an internship in internal medicine, she did a two-year research fellowship in cardiac MR imaging at Northwestern. After completing a residency in diagnostic radiology at Rush University Medical Center, she returned to Northwestern for a one-year clinical fellowship in body MR imaging. She has been an attending physician at Rush since 2008.
Shors’ primary specialty is body MRI. She has a special interest in MR imaging of the genitourinary tract, particularly of the female pelvic organs. She also has an interest and expertise in cardiac MR imaging.
Shors was elected chief resident of the Diagnostic Radiology Department at Rush in 2006. She has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and presented at several national meetings.
