A pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and member of the Rehab Associates of the Chicago team, Laura Deon, MD, specializes in evaluating and treating children with temporary or permanent disabilities. She is passionate about getting her patients involved in life and their communities, through adapted sports, volunteering and activities with their peers. Deon has seen first-hand how an active lifestyle improves fitness, mood, self-esteem and overall quality of life.

When not treating patients, Deon enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, art, music and the ballet. A native of Texas, she is a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine as well as the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
