We're involved in research at the Rush Osteoporosis Center, and we study patients with a variety of medical issues. We study osteoporosis in patients with lupus, for example, and use the bone mineral density machine to determine the risk of developing osteoarthritis in knees. In addition, our bone mineral density machine is used to measure body fat distribution for clinical care and research.
