The Office of Philanthropy is committed to effectively stewarding the support of Rush's valued donors and thanking them appropriately for their giving. Rush proudly recognizes the generosity of our donors and volunteer leadership through a series of events held throughout the year.

Additionally, depending on level of giving, friends of Rush may qualify for membership in one of the following giving societies:

• The Anchor Cross Society, recognizing the generosity of Rush's annual donors of $2,000 or more
• The Rush Heritage Society, recognizing all those who've made provisions for Rush in their estate plans
• The Benjamin Rush Society, recognizing the generosity of annual donors who've made gifts of $2,000 or more to benefit Rush Medical College
• The Golden Lamp Society, recognizing the generosity of annual donors who've made gifts of $300 or more to benefit Rush University College of Nursing
