Rush offers customized services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Exceptional services are needed to make each visit the most positive inpatient and outpatient experience possible.
We know that coming to the hospital can be a stressful and overwhelming experience. With this in mind, we offer tours of the areas you may visit in the Medical Center to help you anticipate and prepare for your visit.
In the outpatient setting, perhaps a first or last appointment of the day would be helpful to the patient or caregiver, or limiting the amount of time that the patient will be in a waiting room. For special assistance with scheduling, please call (312) 942-7806
Please let us know what we can do to make your Rush experience as smooth as possible. For more information please contact us at (312) 942-7806 or special_needs@rush.edu
