Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Medication in the Treatment of Panic Disorder
We are currently enrolling individuals in a research study to determine if medication can enhance cognitive behavioral therapy for panic disorder.
The study involves paper-and-pencil tests, interviews and lab tests.
Participants will have five weekly sessions of cognitive behavioral therapy, and in three of those sessions, participants will take either the study medication or placebo (an inactive pill).
Participants will have their symptoms assessed throughout the study.
There will be no cost for your participation in this study.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are between 18 and 65 years of age
- Have had a diagnosis of panic disorder
