Transportation
International patients can travel to Chicago by air using either Midway or O'Hare international airports. Public transportation to downtown Chicago is available from both airports. The International Health Services staff is happy to assist in helping to arrange transportation between the airports and Rush University Medical Center.
Rush University Medical Center is located on Chicago's near West Side, just minutes from downtown Chicago, and is easily accessible by all major expressways and public transportation. To see a map and get detailed directions, please see Getting to Rush.

Accommodations
Family members of Rush patients receive special discounts at many downtown hotels, including the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Chicago's Gold Coast. The International Health Services staff can assist in making arrangements and offer suggestions on accommodations ranging from apartments and low-budget, affordable residences to upscale luxury suites, depending on the family's request.
