Loren Phillip Hizel is a research assistant with the epidemiologic studies at the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center. Loren administers neuropsychological testing on participants in the Rush Memory and Aging Project (MAP) and the Rush Religious Orders Study (ROS). He also works on the MAP Olfactory substudy by conducting research with memory ability and smelling ability. Additionally he is assisting Dr. Robert Wilson on other research projects on the side.
Loren received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Loren would like to return to graduate school and earn a PhD in clinical neuropsychology. Loren currently is working on a certificate in health care ethics from Rush University.
