Program Description

The Rush University Medical Center Blood Center provides a variety of services and blood products. Patients often require blood and platelets in their fight to survive cancer treatments, organ transplants and various illnesses.  Generous volunteer donors can rest assured that their donation with the Rush Blood Donor Programs will benefit patients at Rush.

• Therapeutic apheresis

Location

The Rush Blood Donor Center is located in Suite 262, Jelke, by elevator E. Hours vary daily. Walk-ins welcomed, but due to scheduled appointments, they may be asked to schedule a future donation.
