Dr. Warren is a professor in the Department of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, where he has been on the medical staff since 1985.
Board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery, Dr. Warren has published extensively in his field, and has presented widely in the United States and abroad. He is a member of many professional societies, including the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Surgeons.
