Provides individual psychotherapy using a cognitive-behavioral approach for children on the ASD/PDD spectrum. Psychologist or therapist will determine diagnosis, conceptualize a treatment approach, and work collaboratively with the client to help the individual reach his or her goals. The specific process is accomplished through a variety of methods determined by both the therapist and the client (e.g., psycho-education, behavioral experiments, cognitive restructuring, homework assignments, etc.). They also recognize that no one solution will meet every need, and they integrate various philosophical perspectives to find solutions customized to your unique circumstance.
