Advanced Treatment Options  

As part of the clinic, you will receive the newest treatments available for prostate cancer, including: 

• Advanced chemotherapy drugs and other medicines
• Minimally invasive surgical options, such as the da Vinci prostatectomy
• State-of-the-art radiation treatments, including:
  • Tomotherapy, or image guided radiation therapy (IGRT)
  • Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
  • Brachytherapy – both high-dose and traditional

Second Opinion Services

The Coleman Foundation Comprehensive Prostate Cancer Clinic at Rush offers second opinion services to men who have received a prostate cancer diagnosis. Complementary and Integrative Medicine

Rush has a dedicated Cancer Integrative Medicine Program which offers patients access to the following complementary treatments: acupuncture, biofeedback, guided imagery, counseling, massage therapy, medical hypnosis, nutritional counseling and yoga. Supportive and Educational Services

Rush is committed to helping patients and their families cope with the psychological, emotional and spiritual effects of cancer. We offer our patients access to a variety of cancer support programs, including the opportunity to meet with an American Cancer Society patient navigator, who assesses the individual patient needs and provides information about available community services and programs.
