As chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, I am privileged to have the opportunity to make you aware of issues and advances in the fields of cardiovascular-thoracic surgery, heart failure and cardiac transplant,  vascular surgery, and medicine in general.  In the coming months I will periodically be writing this newsletter on various subjects including what is new in CVT surgery, what is new and exciting here at Rush, as well as featuring  many of my colleagues to inform you on recent advances in their particular fields of expertise. I hope you will find this both interesting and helpful in managing your health and the health of your loved ones.

The Larry King Foundation partners with Rush
The Larry King Cardiac Foundation and Rush University Medical Center have joined forces to provide life-saving cardiac care for patients who have no insurance or limited means.
