Natalie Forburger received her master’s degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, and completed an internship at Metropolitan Preparatory School, Inc. in Arlington Heights, Illinois. As an intern, Natalie acted as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders in a therapeutic school setting. In this position, Natalie gained knowledge in the field of autism through leading social skill focus groups and conducting individual psychotherapy. Natalie is an Illinois Licensed Professional Counselor. As Director of Rush’s Autism Resource Center, Natalie is committed to building sustainable and productive relationships with the community for the express purpose of sharing information and ideas toward treating and improving the quality of life for children and adolescents with autism.
