Kalyan Latchamsetty, MD

Dr. Kalyan Latchamsetty is a board certified physician of urology. He graduated from the Rush University Medical College, and continued there to complete a urology residency and internship in general surgery. He continued on to a fellowship in laparoscopy and robotics at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He is currently teaching urologists to perform the Da Vinci Prostatectomy as an intuitive surgical proctor at Rush Presbyterian. Dr. Latchamsetty’s studies in the urological field have been published in many medical journals and he has presented his findings at conferences across North America and Europe.

Dr. Latchamsetty’s practice emphasis is mainly robotic daVinci surgery, laparoscopic surgery, urologic oncology, stone disease and benign prostate disorders.  He uses the following special procedures in his practice: daVinci robotic prostatectomy, daVinci robotic partial nephrectomy, daVinci pyeloplasty, laparoscopic nephrectomy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, laser treatment of stones and lithotripsy for stone disease.
