Open Label Partial Responders to Peginterferon

Clinical Trial Protocol Description

This study is to compare the efficacy and safety of Infergen 15 μg/day plus ribavirin versus peginterferon alfa plus ribavirin in patients with chronic HCV infection who were partial responders after treatment with peginterferon alfa/ribavirin.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible for this study if you have:

HCV genotype 1
Documented partial response after 12 weeks of standard treatment as therapy naïve
Detectable HCV RNA at least a 2-log decrease in HCV RNA
No co-infections of HBV or HIV
