Main Parking Garage

There is an enclosed garage on the southeast corner of Paulina and Harrison streets, which connects by covered walkway to the Atrium and Professional Building.

Discount Parking

A senior citizen discount is available to patients and visitors who show their senior citizen/Medicare cards when leaving the garage. Discount parking coupons are available for people who make frequent visits to the Medical Center for inpatient or outpatient services. Discount coupon booklets may be purchased from the Information Desk located on the 4th Floor Atrium Building. The booklets are for sale Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Parking for People with Disabilities

People with disabilities with proper identification receive a discounted rate for valet parking. Assistance for people needing wheelchair transport is available at valet entrances at the Atrium Building (1650 W. Harrison St.), Professional Building (1725 W. Harrison St.) and Johnston R. Bowman Center (710 S. Paulina St.). Once inside, call the hospital operator (dial "0") for assistance.

Designated parking for people with disabilities is available on the 4th and 5th floor levels of Section A in the garage. A valid disability license plate or placard must be visible.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available at the following buildings:

• Atrium (312-942-7442)
• Johnston R. Bowman Health Center (312-942-7000)
• Professional Building (312-942-3720)

Discount coupons are not valid at the valet parking sites.

Taxis

A taxi stand is located in front of the Jelke Building (see map) on Harrison Street. A taxi call button is located on the ground floor of the Atrium Building.

Entering the Medical Center

The main entrance to the Medical Center is 1650 W. Harrison St. (the Atrium Building) across the street from the parking garage. The main hospital lobby is on the fourth floor of the Atrium Building. This lobby can be reached by taking an elevator from the ground floor or by taking a walkway from the fourth floor of the parking garage.

There are two pedestrian bridges to the Medical Center from the fourth floor, Section A level of the parking garage:

• The Harrison Street (or north) bridge leads to the fourth floor Atrium Lobby.
• The Paulina Street (or west) bridge leads to the Professional Buildings and Armour Academic Center (Rush University).
• After 9 p.m., visitors may use only the Paulina Street bridge.
