| | | Dawn Reimann, MS, RNC, APN/CNS | | Dawn Reimann, MS, RNC, APN/CNS, is the education coordinator for the Rush Perinatal Center. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., and her Master's of Science in Maternal-Child Nursing from Rush University. She is an advanced practice nurse/ clinical nurse specialist. Dawn has worked at Rush University for 32 years, first in the NICU as staff nurse, assistant manager and manager, and now as education coordinator in the Rush Perinatal Center. She is also on faculty in the Rush College of Nursing.
Dawn is responsible for coordinating and providing education programs in the care of high-risk mothers and neonates to staff within the Rush Perinatal Center network hospitals. A goal of the education process is to improve outcomes for these patients through enhanced knowledge and updated skills.
The Rush Perinatal Center works in conjunction with the Division of Nursing and the Sections of maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology to provide a continuum of excellent care and staff education at Rush University Medical Center.
