Jennifer Caprini-Vernoski
Jennifer C. Vernoski is a recreation technician at the Alzheimer’s Family Care Center in Chicago. She has been with the AFCC since 1999. Her primary responsibilities include planning and implementing therapeutic and group activities based on the abilities of geriatric clients and collaborating with staff to evaluate modifications in program structure to meet the changing needs at both the client and program level. In addition, she assesses clients’ status and needs, provides formal and informal leadership to support staff development, and teaches training modules to students.
She earned her bachelor of arts in Spanish and bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Dayton in Ohio in 1998. She was previously employed with Eastside Adult Day Services in Issaquah, Washington.
