Mary Wilkie, MS, RN, CCNS

Mary Wilkie, MS, RN, CCNS, is a licensed clinical nurse specialist in pediatric cardiology and critical care.  She received a bachelor of arts in education from Augustana College and a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing from Rush University. She is certified as an advance practice nurse by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and is a member of AACN and the Society of Pediatric Cardiovascular Nurses.

In addition to her clinical role in the section of pediatric cardiology, she enjoys a teaching role with hospital staff and students in the Rush College of Nursing and has had experience as a research coordinator in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.

Special interests include pediatric and adult congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, cardiac transplant, and the development of patient and family education.
