The Use of Complementary and Alternative Medicines in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

This study is a phone questionnaire to determine if there is any improvement of Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis in patients that currently use or have previously used alternative and complimentary medicines compared to conventional medicines, such as steroids. As part of this study, patients will complete a two-page questionnaire; patients will not be asked to use any alternative or complimentary medicines.

This study is recruiting patients with IBD and healthy controls. To participate in this study, you must:

1. Be willing to complete a 10-minute phone questionnaire
2. Be over age 18
3. Be able to give consent
