Clinical Trial Title

A study of Montelukast compared with placebo in pediatric patients with episodic asthma



Clinical Trial Protocol Description

The goal of this study is to evaluate the effects of an FDA-approved asthma drug in children 1 to 5 years of age with episodic asthma. The study will include seven visits and will last approximately one year.



Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

Your child may be eligible to participate in this study if he or shet:

  • Is 1 to 5 years of age
  • Has episodic (periodic) asthma symptoms (e.g., wheezing, shortness of breath)
