Clinical Trial Title

The study of acid reflux in children with asthma



Clinical Trial Protocol Description

The goal of this study is to compare the effects of an acid reflux drug with placebo in asthmatic children. The study will evaluate the effect on asthma symptoms and control, lung function, and symptoms of acid reflux during an eight-month period (nine visits).



Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 6-17 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with asthma
  • Are currently taking a daily inhaled corticosteroid for asthma symptoms
  • Have no diagnosis of acid reflux disease
