Kathryn (Kit) Moy Bleakney, BS, RN

Since January of 2002, Kit has been an integral part of the spine surgery clinical team at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush. She currently serves as a nurse clinician in practice with Dr. Howard An. She provides daily accountability for the spine practice, and assists in working up, educating and treating patients with varying degrees of neck and back problems.

Kit brings extensive clinical experience to her position. She served as a nurse clinician and surgical first assistant in foot and ankle surgery with a prior Midwest Orthopaedics practice. Over the course of her career, Kit has developed expertise in plastic/reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, in the operating room at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and in maternal-child/neonatal intensive care.
