We are a specialized travel and immunization clinic staffed by providers with training in tropical and infectious diseases. We perform pre-travel risk assessment for our patients based on the traveler’s health and details of the planned trip, which we use to generate a personalized travel counseling record. This includes educating the traveler on vaccine-preventable illness, avoidance of insects, prevention and self-treatment of traveler’s diarrhea, personal safety and access to medical care during travel.
We employ travel guidelines outlined by the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and other resources, including the Centers for Disease Control’s Health Information for International Travel and Web-based guidelines for travelers through Shoreland’s Travax EnCompass. We are also a certified clinic for yellow fever vaccine.

Returning Travelers
Our providers are board-certified in infectious diseases, with extensive experience in tropical medicine. We offer post-travel consultations even if you have not been previously seen at our travel clinic. This can be arranged by calling our clinic for an appointment or preferably through a referring physician.
