Gordon Trenholme, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He is Chief of Infectious Disease at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. One of his major areas of expertise is tropical medicine. Dr. Trenholme has an extensive bibliography including numerous publications on malaria. Throughout his 30 years in practice at Rush he has been referred and taken care of a number of patients with infectious diseases acquired during travel.
