James McAuley, MD, MPH
James McAuley, MD, MPH, went to medical school at Northwestern University where he received his MD and MPH degrees. From there he trained in internal medicine and pediatrics as well as infectious diseases at the University of Chicago. He attended the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and received his diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene.
Dr. McAuley worked extensively in Central and South America, Asia, and Africa while with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where he was in the Epidemic Intelligence Service. He continues to work internationally and has a personal interest in travel medicine with a special focus on traveling with children and other vulnerable populations.
