| | | Kousik Krishnan, MD, FACC | | Kousik Krishnan, MD, FACC, is a board certified cardiac electrophysiologist, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Director of the Arrhythmia Device Clinic and Associate Director of the Electrophysiology Lab at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Krishnan joined the faculty of Rush University in January 2004 following a faculty appointment at Northwestern University. His training includes an internal medicine residency at Barnes Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis. He completed a cardiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship from Barnes Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis. He received the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology Advanced Training Clinical Fellowship Award in 2001-2002.
Dr. Krishnan’s current research interests include optimizing response to biventricular pacing, catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, magnetic catheter guidance for ablation, clinical electrophysiology and device based therapy.
